A physician's prescription is required.
CPR/AED Training
Any individual, association, corporation, or other organization that obtains an automated external defibrillator must ensure that expected responders who may need to use the device receive training in both cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator use.
EMS Notification
Within 30 days of acquiring an automated external defibrillator, the owner shall register with the Department of Safety as per RSA 153-A:32.
Maintenance
The defibrillator must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's operational guidelines.
