Physician

A licensed physician in North Carolina is required for the prescription.

CPR/AED Training

The individual in charge of the location where the AED is at must supply a training program to qualify for immunity.

EMS Notification

To promote public health and safety, a seller of an AED must inform the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Facilities Services, Office of EMS about the presence, location, and model of the AED.
